Hello Nirvana Fans! This is a particularly rare guitar made by Fender Japan's Custom Shop. It's the JAG-70 Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang and it's in very condition. You have the choice of either guitar in stock, one is in Fiesta Red and the other Sonic Blue. Your choice of either for only $799.
Fender Japan was issued the license to make Kurt's Jag-Stang by the Cobain Estate, Fender USA (nor Fender Mexico) produces this model for the marketplace. What makes this guitar even rarer is that Fender Japan has discontinued making them. There were only a limited number of models made, and this is one of them.
The Jag-Stang was designed by Kurt in 1993 when he was living in Hollywood after the success of Nirvana's Nevermind album. It was a combination of his two favorite guitars: the Fender Jaguar and the Fender Mustang. He used brown cardboard to cut out the designs and patterns that he wanted in his new guitar and had Fender's expert craftsmen drive up from Corona (California) to Hollywood to take measurements and record details of his Signature guitar to be. Today, Kurt's cardboard cutouts and design schematics are exhibited in the Fender Music Museum in Corona, California (located on Main Street and the 91 Fwy). (You can tell, I visited the museum!)

These guitars are in very good condition with only few blemishes on the guitar, which can be seen in the GUITAR PICS page on this site. The blemishes dont take away from the beauty of the instrument and not visible while playing. The necks are straight and they play with a tone and resonance that is warm and solid.
Included are non-Fener gig bag and tremolo bar.
