Hello, you are bidding on a Fender Japan Dr. K Telecaster in excellent, excellent condition. This model telecaster is only made by Fender Japan and is a Crafted in Japan Q Serial model which dates it to 2003 from the serial number. Of all the Fender Japan Telecaster’s that have come into my shop, this one is particularly rare. The wiring on this guitar has been modified so that it is now a 7 tone telecaster, instead of its original 5 tones. The switch to turn on the extra 2 tones is the push/pull volume knob. The tones are as follows:

When the volume knob is pulled up the two additional tones are:
neck + bridge
neck + middle + bridge
This beautiful guitar was made in 2003 and features a center seam alder body, solid maple neck, Gotoh tuners, LACE Hot Gold Sensor pickups in the neck and middle position, and a Seymour Duncan Jerry Donahue single coil in the bridge position. For the record: This neck has ZERO fret wear.

This Telecaster is beautiful for its 21 years of age. The neck is pristine with zero fret wear; essentially, the neck is unplayed. It has a few very light blemishes on the body, but nothing that takes away from its overall beauty.
